John Soister

John Soister was ordained in 1976 and placed on “sick leave” less than two years later after accusations of sexual abuse. Soister allegedly abused a 14-year-old girl in 1976. Soister and another priest took the victim and a few of her friends to a beach house where Soister allegedly gave her alcohol and assaulted her. He was laicized in 1994.
