Foster P. Rogers

Father Rogers resigned as pastor of St. Pius X Church in Chili in 2002 following allegations that he sexually abused a minor. Rogers was reportedly accused of abusing a minor boy in approximately 1975. Father Rogers was assigned to St. Alphonsus Church in 1979 and was transferred to St. Pius X in the 1990s. In 2012, Father Rogers appeared on the Diocese of Rochester’s 2012 list of priests who were removed from ministry since 2002. The list stated that Rogers was one of the priests who was laicized after being accused of sexual abuse of a minor.
