David P. Simon

Father Simon resigned as pastor in 2002 following allegations that he sexually abused a minor in the mid-1970s. It is believed that the allegations against Simon was reported before Simon resigned. In 2012, Simon’s name appeared on the Diocese of Rochester list of priests who were removed from ministry since 2002. The list stated that Simon was one of the priests who was assigned to a life of prayer and penance.
