Richard Schaefer

Father Schaefer was accused of sexual abuse in a 2003 lawsuit. The lawsuit alleged that Schaefer, who was in charge of a group of young boys at St. Philip Neri Church in Northport, sexually abused him between 1958 and 1961. Schaefer was further accused of kissing and fondling the boy in multiple locations, including the church rectory. Schaefer is accused of abusing at least five other boys, according to Newsday.
