John McLoughlin

Father McLoughlin was one of the twenty-four priests accused of sexual misconduct in a lawsuit filed in 2003. The lawsuit alleged that McLoughlin sexually abused two brothers while he was assigned to St. Mary’s Nativity Parish Church in Brooklyn. It was further alleged that the abuse occurred in the rectory and at a home in Rocky Point during the late 1960s.  McLoughlin died in 1994.
