John Laurence Heathwood

Brother Heathwood entered the Congregation of the Christian Brothers in 1943 and took his final vows in 1954. His assignments have said to include All Hallows High School, Cardinal Hayes High School, Bishop Kearney High School, Iona College, and Bishop Henricksen High School among others. A 2007 lawsuit alleged that Brother Heathwood was removed as a teacher and drama director at Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester for sexually abusing a teenage girl in the 1970s.
