Andrew L. Millar

Ordained: 1958

Father Millar was ordained in 1958 in Ireland and came to Long Island in 1964. Millar was given a prison sentence in 2000 for sodomizing a mentally disabled teenager, according to the New York Daily News. It was previously reported that a complaint was made in 1999 to the Diocese of Rockville Centre by a former altar boy who alleged that Millar had sexually abused him when he was 10 years old. It has further been reported that a principal complained in 1995 that Millar fondled children at the school playground. Millar has allegedly been identified as ‘Priest V’ in a Suffolk County Grand Jury report.
