Father McComiskey had his priestly faculties removed in 2002 following allegations of sexual misconduct, according to Newsday. McComiskey was said to have been the pastor of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Syosset since 1990. An allegation against McComiskey was allegedly made on the Diocese’s sex abuse hotline.
