In 2004, Father Keating was asked to take a leave of absence from his assignment at Most Holy Rosary following allegations that he sexually abused multiple minors. The lawsuits alleged that Keating molested the women, including three sisters, during the 1980s. Some of Father Keating’s assignments in the 1980s include Our Lady of Angel’s Church in Endwell, St. Mary’s Church in Cortland, and St. Malachy Church in Sherburne.
