In 1994, Father Huckemeyer admitted to sexually abusing a 13-year-old student. Huckemeyer was a former deacon at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church in Long Island City. The victim accused Huckemeyer of pulling down his pants and performing oral sex on him. According to the Diocese, Huckemeyer is no longer in ministry and his status is “in process.”
