Thomas W. Burr

Father Burr was resigned at the bishop’s request and was placed on indefinite administrative leave in 2002 after a review of diocesan files revealed that allegations of sexual abuse had been made against him, according to the Associated Press. Burr was the pastor of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads at the time of his removal. He was reportedly assigned to a life of prayer and penance.
