Joseph P. Denning

Ordained: 1932

Bishop Joseph P. Denning was ordained in 1932 and retired in 1982.  He served as the Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn for thirty years and died in 1990.  In February 2019, he was included in the Brookyn Diocese’s list of credibly accused priests. The credibility of the allegations against him were determined by the Diocesan Review Board.
