John P. Gallant

Father Gallant was temporarily removed from ministry in 2002, according to USA Today.  A civil suit filed in 2002 accused Gallant of starting an affair with a 16-year-old girl. Gallant was the pastor of St. Joan of Arc Church in Sloatsburg and allegedly acknowledged having a past affair with a young woman. Gallant is the brother of Alfred F. Gallant, another accused priest.
