In 2009, James McDevitt was arrested and charged with molesting 6 boys. A search warrant was executed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in connection to the investigation. Father McDevitt requested a voluntary leave of absence. He finally pleaded guilty to two counts of forcible touching in 2010.
