James Gotimer
Ordained: 1953
James Gotimer served as an assistant at Most Holy Trinity parish in Williamsburg from 1953-63, and served on the faculty of Cathedral Prep in Elmhurst from 1963-69. He was the principal of Bishop Reilly Diocesan High School in Fresh Meadows from 1969-74. In 1974, he was named pastor of St. Bartholomew parish and served in that position until 1998 when he retired.
In February 2019, he was included in the Brookyn Diocese’s list of credibly accused priests. The credibility of the allegations against him were determined by the Diocesan Review Board. He died in 2013.
