Henry Mills
Ordained: 1988
Father Mills was accused of assaulting and sexually molesting a minor boy, according to a lawsuit filed by the plaintiff in the late 1990s. The plaintiff accused Mills of engaging in ”anal and oral sexual contact and other deviant sexual acts” beginning in 1992. Mills was the assistant pastor of Christ the King Church in the Bronx in 1992 when the incidents are alleged to have occurred. Although Mills denied the allegations, he received a psychological evaluation, according to the New York Times. Mills was allegedly still celebrating Mass publicly at St. Elizabeth Church in Washington Heights and was said to have occasionally been filling in as a teacher at the parish school, according to a 2002 article in the New York Post.
