George Puello
Ordained: Unknown
A lawsuit in 2002 alleged that Father Puello had molested multiple victims while Puello was a teacher and dormitory supervisor at the Salesian Junior Seminary in Goshen, New York. One of the victims has further stated that he complained of the alleged abuse in 1972, but that Emilio S. Allue, who was the director of the seminary from 1972 to 1975, simply asked the victim to leave the seminary. Allue was eventually elevated to bishop by Pope John Paul II in 1996.
