Gary J. Mercure

Gary Mercure was sentenced to 20 to 25 years in state prison after he was convicted of raping two altar boys in the 1980s. Father Mercure was an ordained priest of the Diocese of Albany until he was suspended from ministry in 2008. It has been reported that several other alleged victims testified against Mercure during the criminal trial.
