Donald J. Crosby

Father Crosby was ordained in 1963 and reportedly resigned from the priesthood in 1975. It was reported that Crosby voluntarily requested laicization and was granted that request in 1980. Crosby was accused of sexually abusing a minor girl while he was a priest at a Utica Catholic school. It was reported that Crosby’s alleged abuse was reported to his supervisor in 1974, but Diocese officials have reportedly asserted that no record of the complaint exists. Crosby apparently worked as a guidance counselor, but resigned shortly after the school learned about the allegations.
