Carl Stone

As the Albany Times Union reported, Carl Stone was removed from ministry by the Diocese of Albany in 1981 after he pleaded guilty to sodomy charges related to an indictment that alleged sex with two teenage brothers. Although removed from ministry, it was reported that Father Stone continued to function as a priest, although the Diocese of Albany was not aware of his ministry until the publication of a Canadian newspaper story that Stone apparently served as a priest in a limited ministry in Cornwall, Ontario.
