Bernard Splawski

Ordained: 1963

Father Splawski was ordained in 1963 as a Franciscan Friar. In 1986, he was accused of improperly touching a high school student while Splawski taught and served as principal at Timon High School in South Buffalo. It was reported that he had previously undergone treatment in a therapeutic center in St. Louis and was considered “rehabilitated.” Splawski resigned as pastor of a New Jersey parish in 2003 after the victim’s parents allegedly renewed their complaints against Splawski.
