Bernard Mach

Father Mach was accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy after asking the boy’s parents to let their son stay at the church rectory. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Department was reported to have conducted a criminal investigation into the allegations. The victim and his parents eventually filed a civil lawsuit in 1993 accusing Mach of fondling the victim, exposing himself to the victim, and further forcing himself on the young boy.
