Augusto Cortez

Father Cortez was a member of the Vincentian Fathers. He was arrested in 2008 and charged with touching the breast of a 12-year-old girl. He was also accused of allegedly fondling the girl while he was assigned to St. John the Baptist School in Bushwick. Cortez was also accused of allegedly abusing a 6-year-old girl. Cortez had fled the country and was extradited back to the U.S.
